In the beginning there was the Game, and then there arose the idea of the Challenge.
The great Prophet Pinstar quantified the Challenge, and it became known as Legacy.
The Game evolved and there came many Expansions, and the Rules of the Legacy became increasingly complex.
And the people cried out, "The scoring has become too difficult, even with Excel spreadsheets!"
The Prophet Pinstar heard their cries, and he was merciful. "There shall be simplfied scoring," he decreed. And thus the New Rules came to light.
