Let's have a slightly open competition this month.  The theme is What the FUCK!
Please nominate objects, accessories, clothing, makeup, building materials and any other object that just makes you go WTF?.  We want to see stuff with no purpose, things with no value, things you can't imagine why anyone would put in the game.  It doesn't have to be ugly, it doesn't have to be broken, just as long as it makes you tip your head sideways and frown.

Just as a source of inspiration, I'll mention this gem (which I deem disqualified since it was among the winners of May's competition):

I wish to nominate the Period Hack. An oldie but a goodie, which spawned a massive menstruation thread in RL.

It deserves nomination for a number of reasons, not the least of which is this gem in the updates section:

I'd like to nominate this lovely item by FeeEssen. Apparently it is a sugar bag whatever one of those is. I think it is a badly coloured-in plumbob myself.

This isn't just an ugly, weird, uncomfortable and slightly impossible-looking bathroom. It's a pay ugly, weird, uncomfortable and slightly impossible-looking bathroom! (It's peggysims2, by juice, first page of member bathrooms.)

The bathroom isn't the nomination, though - just the rug. I mean, look at it. I'm sure many people have one of those rugs in their home - you know, the one where the corner always folds over, or the middle bunches up, and it annoys and/or injures you whenever it does this. But why does someone want one in their game? It's not even some fancy animated rug that is flat and then trips up and kills sims who walk on it or something. It's merely a perpetually crumpled rug, and I just can't understand why

(The miniature bath towel would be my second nomination, though. Even if it's a hair towel, it's still pathetic! Especially in such a huge bathroom.)

When children in Germany set off for their first day in school upon entering first grade, their parents and/or grandparents present them with a big cardboard cone, prettily decorated and filled with toys, chocolate, candies, school supplies, and various other goodies. It is given to children to make this anxiously awaited first day of school a little bit sweeter.

the link is only broken because the last 3 letters are somehow unlinked; if you click on it, it cuts them off. I was able to get it to work  as well.

I had to laugh when I got to the lower end of the Wiki entry, where they talk about the tree they used to hang the cones in and how they'd tell the children when the tree bore fruit (the cones) it meant it was time for little ones to start their first day of school.

Whee, go to school day..? Thanks, I'll stick with the "all treat, no hidden trick" holidays.

That's not useless. That's the headpiece for a minaret. Granted, it's lacking in texture, and it has been simply dumped on the floor unceremoniously, so you might not recognize it, but it has value. Just not presentation value, apparently.

Actually, I took a look at the actual page where the download was offered. It seems that it was intended as a build mode type add on piece, not as a house. Pescado is absolutely right, the creator said:

One word settles it all: WHY? Exactly what purpose is served by this waste of space? Why was this even approved? It's has no decorative value, all it does is showcase an inept creator's ability to saw the bottom off a mesh, something a blind chimpanzee could do, and it has no additional functionality.

It appears to be a trailer attatched to only half of a pick-up truck with great big horse heads plastered on the hood and to the strange piece sticking out of the top. It is decorative only, which is just as well since half of a truck probably wouldn't tow a trailer anyway. Oh did I mention it comes complete with horse's rear?

Yes, but even still, it doesn't demonstrate true WTFness. It has a defined sense of purpose, and might even be useful to someone. It's badly implemented, but the CONCEPT is sound.

I don't blame you. I refuse to use them and if asked I'd refuse to flush it OR gently place a basket/candle/etc on the back of it. My theory is if it hasn't got feet, it's only a decoration.

New meshes bypass the queue. They don't have to be approved, sadly. I think many of FeeEssen's items are proof of this.... Some folks are hip to this fact and will click "new mesh" in the upload wizard even for recolors and try to skate by unnoticed.

There's no reason half a truck can't tow a horse trailer. Ever pay attention to one of those big trucks on the highway? You aren't losing power or anything, because the engine is in the front. I could actually see this for a country theme. I've seen these before in real life, complete with horse's rear. And while it may seem dumb to you, IMO, it isn't CRAZY or WTF (okay, maybe the stupid horse pictures all over it, and the way the cab has 4 wheels instead of two).

I can't see the point of any lot, for any reason, having a horse carrier with a horse in it standing in the driveway 24-7.  But yes, it lacks a certain WTFness.
