Sims stuck doing nothing !!

Really weird scenario. It appears that some sims would get stuck on a particular action, and NOTHING can be done to break it.

IE: Daughter was reading a book, then school bus arrived, and it just stayed there. She carried on reading, school bus carried on waiting but nothing...

I tried to talk to her, tickle her etc to try break the "loop" but nothing would help. Eventually I had to delete her via the Insimenator.

Re-loaded the game and she is back, but now I am stuck on a loop doing nothing but standing by the pool. Every action I click on, moves to the top left of the screen and then just dissappears.

any one else have this problem?

i tried searching but nothing similiar showed up.

sounds like you need the lot debugger. to the batcave!

Check to see if you're getting any errors in debug mode, and remove the non-Awesome.

See "how to get an error log" in the FAQs.
And, the "non-awesomes" are hacks/mods/stuff not pertaining to MATY production, hence the name .

The weird thing you describe is certainly due to some hack conflict/malfunction, and the error log may help to spot what is happening in the hidden gears of the game.

ahhhh. Now we're talking my language :-)
