Cheating Sim

Ok so my one sim walked in on his partner in bed with someone from work :-) (Man how real does this game get  )

A nasty fight pursued and they are now sitting at a relationship value of something in the red...

The two are not married, but have moved in together. How do I get the one to move out?

I have tried downloading the Easy breakup patch, but that only seems to work for my sims that are in a healthy relationship.

I have tried picking fights and arguments etc, in an effort to make the one move out, but no go.

Any ideas?

If they're not engaged or married, just take one to the newspaper or computer and have them Find Own Place.  The taxi will come and deposit them in the Families Bin.

I think you can only fight them into getting the Break Up option (which would mean one would leave) if they are engaged or married.
