If a non-playable Sim's appearance offends me enough, i make them selectable and march them to a mirror. Seems like I used to be able to do this even on Comm lots.

I use Christianlov's magic clothes change dresser. In every hood I create an unplayed house containing a sim called Style Maven. The dresser teleports in the chosen townie, offers plastic surgery and changes the outfit. I do about half a dozen at a time.

PS Then my playable sims wardrobes don't get bloated.

I had to cover all my hot tubs--I  was playing with the sound off and I forgot there was a hottub on the porch and I saw sims running so I panned over and Cassandra's little sis was getting a visit from Grimmy so I paused it and summoned over the Sim with the highest relation and had him plead for her and he won--good ole Dirk!  But after it was over, I saw three other tombs near the hot tubs.  It is really dangerous.  Today, Brandi Brokes third child(in my game a girl)was having a date with her husband(he is going to die in five days so I wanted her to have another child with him before he dies) well, I wasn't having any luck so, it was the end of the date the meter is full so i had them woohoo in the car(better odds).  Unfortunately, it was raining and when they exited the car, she was struck by lightening-her motives were pretty full so she didn't die--but what surprised me was that it didn't ruin the date.  That would put a damper on my date--I'll tell you.
