Sim rolled "make a zombie" want for recently deceased pet

Is this even possible? Google search results turned up "pets can be resurrected but not as a zombie" How am I supposed to make the pet a zombie? What price needs to be paid? i tried 1,000 and the dog got resurrected but the want wasn't activated.

I doubt it is. EA probably just forgot to update the zombie want so that it checks species, not just that the target is dead.

I kind of thought it might be a maxis bug. It's a good thing they fixed all the bugs with the pets patch! {/sarcasm}
