Yes, all plants are plastic and don't need to be taken care of. I like this feature because it means I don't have to use a hack to make the plants plastic.

Did anyone else notice that if you "View" flowers or shrubs, your sim will tell you that they're pretty?

Well, that product is being discontinued. Turns out that with NL's inventory, it's possible to just take the fresh newspapers, stuff them into your inventory, and when you've acquired 3 in this manner, take them out and bury them as before. Now they will neither expire nor will anyone desire to throw them away, and you'll have 3 current newspapers forever. It completely eliminates the need for this hack, so we're discontinuing the product in all post-NL games.

I've been using Smart-Lights since i first put the game in and haven't had any probs with it.... never noticed anything wierd from it.

The lotdebugger unfortunately doesn't regenerate portrature (sp?)... i've always liked that feature....

Changing appearance in the mirror with Riley didn't update her clothing right away either.  It eventually updated, but it didn't change immediately as in TS2 + NL or later.

Activate this cheat and then SHIFT + left click on an NPC to add them to the current family. Will not work while a service Sim is carrying out a task, but can be used to add more than 8 members to a family!

Use this with a pregant Sim selected to force a twin birth.

Assigns money value to a family from the neighborhood level.

Adjust angle of all roofs on the lot.

# showHeadlines [on/off] (for all sims on lot)
Needed for moviemakers. Makes all thought balloons, speech balloons, and ++/-- type headlines hidden/visible.

# unlockCareerRewards (for selected sim)
For the currently selected Sim, they immediately gain access to all career reward objects in the catalog.

# maxMotives (for all sims on lot)
Maxes the motive bars of all Sims currently on the lot. (Controllable and uncontrollable).

# motiveDecay [on/off] (for all sims on lot)
Stops/Starts motive decay.

# aspirationPoints num (for selected sim)
Applies the chosen aspiration level to the currently selected Sim.

# lockAspiration [on/off] (for all sims on lot)
Stops aspiration decay/gain.

# aspirationLevel [0-5] (for selected sim)
Gives a big chunk of aspiration reward points to the currently selected Sim.

# agesimscheat on
Enables aging cheat when shift clicking on other Sims.

setLotLightingFile [filename]
Allows the player to create a new lighting file with specific lot lighting values. Used to make special light settings per lot.

setHighestAllowedLevel #
Enables you to build more stories for higher buildings (# Values is the number of stories you want to have).

Expands or contracts cheat window.

(Values on/off) Increases game performance but lowers graphics.

(# Values 0 to 8, 0 is normal) Make you set the game speed.

(# Values 0.0 to 1.0) Sitcom flashback blur effect (require postprocessing on).

# boolProp enablePostProcessing false
Turns Postprocessing off.

Turns Postprocessing on.

# deleteAllCharacters
At neighborhood view only (press Ctrl + Alt + C for console), removes every Sim from the neighborhood.

# TerrainType
(Values desert/temperate) At neighborhood view only (press Ctrl + Alt + C for console), toggles between the two terrain types. Only use this in neighborhood view!

You can do any amount you want in debug mode, I doubt many would be interested in this hack. We are usually looking for ways to make the sims poorer, it is so easy to make money in this game.

PS Sorry, missed the Life Stories bit. I still suspect there won't be much interest. Although it is the school holidays I suppose.
