To be cringe-worthy you'd have to believe that the creator took them seriously, which I don't. You don't cringe at a joke unless it falls flat, and so far it seems to have amused lots of people  As for the cringe factor, I always look for evidence of a huge gulf between what the creator thinks is attractive and well-made versus what anyone else with eyeballs would find appealing. In that category I'd have to nominate the patchwork pants with boots on the first page, from anitathesims. I'm always speechless when I see something like that in real life, and I'm no less so with the Sims version. My second faves are the various strangely-hued, tiling-background-as-fabric, shapeless blobs found on TSR (buntah and phadrae). They're not even good bad. |

So, what are the scoring rules? I'm thinking along the lines of Iron Chef:
Down to -10 points for lack of taste
Down to -5 points overall yuckiness
Down to -5 points horrid originality
Lowest total score wins.
