Ever since my toddler ate pet food from the dish, when he is does certain actions, pet food will spew out of him at random. It is not all the time, just when he is doing certain things. Is this a bug or something?

I've not seen it myself yey, but here's a link to a pic someone showed me a while back of a toddler with this same problem. http://temp.djssims.com/bottleanddogfood-1.jpgMy guess is that it's just an effect that gets stuck to certain sims sometimes for no good reason at all. It happens with other things like soap bubbles or the spray for the octopus toy in OfB. |

Yea, it also happens with sims who just fed a bird or womrat -- they leave a trail of birdseed behind then for a while afterwards, until something else interferes with the animation. One of TJ's pets hacks has a fix for the bird/womrat food problem, and it might also clear up this toddler thing.

I've had the weird pet food trail, but it is more concentrated into a stringed line than the screenshot.
The caged food likely caused it although I don't think the Caged Pet Fixes correct it.
Oh EP4, how I abhor you... yet feel compelled to install every expansion pack.

I have the caged pet fixes, and I immediately got the spewing parrot food after installing Pets and playing it for the first time with the first bird. It'll spray out of the Sim's hand when they make quick movements like when dancing, eating, or putting up the toilet lid. This is post-patch... now I wish I hadn't waited for it, if it just breaks things more like people are saying. *sigh*
