2) College->Rampage is your friend.  When they stop Rampaging and the option isn't available anymore, you know the bar is actually full and you can send them to finals.

Actually the bar doesn't have to be completely full.  I send my sims to their finals when there's still a little bit left empty and they still get the highest grade.

However, this person can't see the bar.   The only states he can detect are "full" (no Rampage) and "not full" (Rampage available).  Stopping just short isn't an option!

Weird. I've always used the nocd crack and never noticed a problem with the grade bar.

I just play with the CD and I've had it happen about 4 or 5 times.  Thought I had a cause -- teens drinking elixir -- but then an ex-dormie and an ex-townie developed the problem too...

Moving them into a dorm seems to fix it, but that might not fit your mental story for that Sim.

I've had the graphical error with the Uni bar too, but that was only one sim, and I don't use no-cd cracks.

OFB changes nothing about telephones or conversation. Perhaps your sims have lost all their interests in an unrelated issue and are now pulling Lythdans.
