A grave matter

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

An odd glitch I came across recently was when one of my Sims moved her parents graves to a community cemetery.
As usual she could not place them properly due to the usual piss-poor programming but I never usually take much notice of that. I just re-enter the lot later in build/buy and tidy things up from there.
On this occasion however the computer had different ideas. As soon as I clicked on one of the tombstones it changed from platinum to grey. Re-entering without saving didn't help as the same thing happened again. Especially annoying since this was a Romance grave and I detest Romance sims with a passion and hate to play them but wanted to collect the grave for my Legacy.
The other tombstone, the FOURTH Knowledge one remained platinum.
Gahhhh.

I had a grave for a Family Sim turn to gray from plat.  The grave was still on the home lot.

There you go. Although andecdotal evidence suggests this is a known glitch, I'd rather remove my nipples with a cheese grater than play a Romance sim a second time.

I don't think you have to. The new rules are pretty clear that you can count it if it disappears due to a glitch. This is a pretty common problem.

That's what happens if you play a lame challenge like Legacy. It's obviously weighted toward Family and Knowledge sims and against Romance. A good challenge would make each aspiration equally fun/difficult to play.

I think the new rules go a long way towards making the whole challenge more interesting because there is the option to play with whatever handicaps you think you can cope with. The pet rules are a little lame, though.
