I need help with windkeeper's clocks
« on: 2006 November 06, 16:18:46 »
THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I have windkeeper's time-telling clocks, and I really love them.
But each night at midnight they give me an error and I need to reset them. It does no harm for my game, but it's annoying.
Could someone more awesome than me look at the error log ? Maybe it is something that could be corrected ?
Thanks in advance
Pioupiou

These are "non-awesome" and won't be supported here.

Boblishman's from MTS2 do that as well. I suspect hers may be based on his or at least she uses the same method he did.

It's harmless, but annoying if you run with debug mode all the time.

Do the new MaxisEA clocks that come with Pets actually animate? If so, maybe she should update hers to use that method instead.

It might also be possible to clone the MaxisEA ones and replace them with Windkeeper's or even do them as recolors if they make use of alphas. I'll have to look when I get a chance.

Thanks Motoki.
Yes the pets' clock is animated (and looks like maxis/ea copied the ones by windkeeper to me (like the lucky cat....))

Boblishmans and Windkeepers clocks are cloned from  the cheap alarmclock. Maxis clocks dont use alphas so no recolor.
