propose promblems in vanilla game. also pets with goldfish memory

Well as above really. I made the fatal error of installing pets last week and since then I've had nothing but grief

1st. Propose option is missing it just doesn't  exist for any of sims when it should. (100/100 and in love not already married ect ect)
I originally  thought this was a hack problem but I've took all the custom content out of game and its still not there.

2. Pets do not keep there memories  after I save a game. They also do not keep there jobs after I save.
Again this is in a game without any customer content.

Please tell me somebody else is having these problems and I'm not just going mad .

Are you *sure* you don't have any hacks or hack-type custom content? Because those two things are completely fine in my hack-filled game.

Sure I took my whole downloads folder out. and thats the only place I ever put custom content

I suggest checking the main sims 2 folder and the folders that would be located near the Downloads folder - not sure about you but I drag and drop hacks in (except when I copy and paste them) and sometimes I slip and they end up in the wrong folder.

It's also possible you got a bad install so you may need to reinstall.

I had the same problem, with and with out hacks and downloads. Moving sim out and delete the lot didn´t help at all.
