THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Doesn't work anymore. I spent 15 mns choosing a new outfit for a visitor, to have the tool jump to the next category without the choose outfit option.
It still works on family.

It's been like that for a while. Since OFB I think, possibly NL. One of the expansions changed things and it doesn't work for visitors so I just move them in temporarily and then use Inge's shrub to move them back into the townie pool.

No, it worked for me, maybe not with the mirror to make selectable, but with the insim selectable.
It just stopped working for npcs.

The moving them in workaround should still work though. It's only a couple more steps. The Insim has an option to 'remove me into npc pool' or something like that in the family tree adjuster.

How about doing it en mass from a clothing shop instead?  Sell them an outfit and they change into it. That way your sim gets paid for your effort..  I'm just doing the walk ins at the moment, but I'll be inviting sims over next.  The teleport bush ought to work too surely.

Sick of Bluewater?  Try Sedona or Meadow Lawns instead.  Meadow Lawns is a whole neighbourhood built to explore OFB.  Sedona is a sub'hood you can install as a permanent alternative to Bluewater - it's an "out of this world" experience!  www.moreawesomethanyou.com/cwykes

I used the rack that lets a sim make a neighbour or npc buy clothes. But it only changes everyday wear.
And I like to do it randomly : I have too many sims to play, so some of them really need an upgrade, and I catch them on the fly.
