Missing Manager Fix

A friend and I both have had the same problem.  We were not able to call on the phone to check in with a business. Over last night and today, we've checked every single hack we had.  We finally found that missing manager was the culprit.  We have no idea why, but with that in we don't have any check business options on the phone, no error message btw, just no option on the phone.  We're just letting you all know.   It's a hack we (my friend and I) can do without for now.  If anyone can fix it or tell us if we still need it eventually, we'd appreciate it.

Probably a silly question...  but you did check that you had the most recent version?  Updates have been coming in thick and fast the last few days and it is really easy to miss one.

I just downloaded the whole Directors Cut yesterday.....  And unless there's been an update since then?

yes, and you should check the actual hack directory several times a day during the first 6 weeks of an EP release.

last modified date is 23-Oct-2006 18:45

I just checked the pets directory, the individual thread and the directors cut.  They all have the modified date of Oct. 19.  Unless I've read something wrong?

Clear your cache.

Cleared cache, downloaded three copies of this hack. All dated the 19.  So I switched to IE (I usually use Firefox) to get them.  Same problem.  What now?

Last one I see in the directory is the 20th, and I cleared my cache twice today because of the DNS errors.

I was looking at the last modified date on the Directors Cut package or the moreawesomethanyou-pets.zip date

I tend to just updated the whole thing since I know some mods are dependant on others

I appreciate your help Nectere.  I had checked the one in the directors cut against that in the individual thread and the one in the pets directory.  I guess I should have been more clear.  Sorry.  I have seen that all three have a modification date of Oct. 19 and the one in the pets directory was posted Oct. 20 but the mod itself was dated Oct. 19.  I appreciate your suggestion though, in case I hadn't checked.
