Option 2 is a bit of a no no really seeing as many simmers even struggle to know where to put their downloads
so asking them to update the downloads in their folders themselves to make them Pet Friendly ( without having an easy to use conversion tool of some sort ) would be like challenging a chimp to get a degree in Mathematics
I agree. That would be just begging for a bunch of 'HHHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!11111111oneoneoneoneone' threads.
Although with Uni and the recolors, I did end up just having to update it all myself. It was just easier than tracking everyone down and you're never going to get 100% of people to update.
Speaking of recolors, why is it that with every expansion and even the stuff packs, I seem to get a few recolors that were working fine before, suddenly break and turn blue. With Uni it was all of them of course, but after that it's usually not many, just a few. If they weren't 'episode compatible' then why were they working before with other episodes? I don't get that. But maybe it's just something that happens to me or maybe it's something funky with the way the creator made the recolor.
