How in the world do you delete a Secret Society lot?!

I tried the specialty lot bins to see if I could just replace it with another premade SS lot but they don't even show up because, duh, I already have one.  Would it be the Lot folder somewhere in my neighborhood?  I'm stumped.  I think I corrupted my SS lot with a non-awesome hack but I can't even get there to use JM's various colored boxes to try and fix it.  The limo keeps leaving the dorm lot on one side and coming back to the lot from the other side.

My university is probably hosed, ain't it?  Just when I'm trying to get ready for the unmentionable XP.

Go to the lot with a Sim. If it loads at all, that is.
While there, pause so you have time to enter the cheatcode 'changelotzoning residential'.
Leave the lot.
The SS lot is now visible and can be deleted.

Make a new residential lot and do the cheat:

changeLotZoning secretsociety

Then save and exit. See what happens.

Didn't work.  Nice try though!  I just looked at my dusty Uni hint book.  It says there is no way to move or replace an SS lot once it's placed.  I guess that's that.

What about removing the Lot Description (LTXT) with SimPE?
It seems a shame to abolish the entire university hood because of a lot.

Why move the SS building? I always choose the Academie Le Tour - it has the most comfortable Secret Society building.

When I enter there the first time, I use "motherlode" a couple of times, build the second floor, add a lot of entertaiment objects, arrange the TV set with at least 2 couches, change walls and floors to more extravagant, add a lot of lights inside and outside, add trees, flowers, and bushes - and it's very attractive place. My sims like to visit there a lot, and even roll a want to go there.

I don't delete  it, but this Cowplant annoys me a lot...

Well, any lot can be comfortable if you use motherlode a couple times. 

Odd though, I've never seen the want to go to the lot.

I take it you didn't see the bit where Qwiggles said the SS lot was glitched in their game.  Sims just can't get there.  The lot needs to be deleted so that Qwiggles can put in an unglitched SS lot.

That's why you fence it off and don't put a gate in the fence .... until you want a gate there :evil grin:

I have only once similar experience: the limo came, and after a second left, without taking my sim. As I always save before the kidnap, I exited without save, to try again - again the same result, but this time I had an option on the limo - "go to secret society", and I found it on the phone too.
My sim went there with a taxi, and when he arrived the SS - I restarted  the computer.

Then I enterred the game again, and enterred the lot. The sim came back with the taxi. The next night came the limo, and he was successfully kidnapped.

May be it can help too.

Open the N00X_University00X.package, filter by lot description and find your secret society lot by it's description (Landgrabb Society or whatever). In plugin view change it's lot type from secret to something else, commit, save. Load the game and delete the sukka which will now be visible.

Thanks!  I tried that.  The change worked.  When I went in an unoccupied residential lot to turn it into SS, it was already one.  I think when I followed Dizzy's suggestion, it set that lot as SS.  Anyway my sim was there, all the jackets were there having a good time so I called for the limo to go home.  Alas, my limo problem was still there.  Same thing happened back at her dorm when she tried to go back to SS lot.

I haven't actually deleted the old-SS-turned-residential lot from the neighborhood because it wasn't readily apparent as the Landgrabb Society.  I'm suspecting it was the lot called 10 Crumplebottom Dr or something.  Also, the new SS lot didn't disappear from the neighborhood view.  When I click on it, it still shows For Rent.

I'm going to try this again with another resident lot.  It might make a difference.

If the problem persists, I'm going to dump this uni and build a new one.  Should I family-bin my uni families or do you think they'll automatically be there when I set up the new uni neighborhood?  I forget what happens to the dormies.  Will I have a new set of dormies plus the existing ones?  Yikes, talk about doubling the ugliness.  That "Prep for delete" option from the debugger box will come in handy...

Subhoods all have the same characters. The only real difference is the lots.

You could bin them beforehand, but from my experience, when you delete an existing university, all the playables there are automatically moved to the student bin.

However, I think you have to at least create the new uni (terrain only) before you can delete the old one.  I don't think the game will let you delete the only existing uni in a hood.

You can only delete an existing uni if there is another one there, so you will need to add a second uni before you can delete the messed up one.

All sims resident in the deleted uni will wind up binned, so no dramas there at all.
