Can't sit in cars on dates

I've had this problem for a few months now...always ignored it...then quit playing there for quite a while.  Now that I'm playing the game again this has become increasingly annoying.

For whatever reason...when my sims are on dates with somebody who doesn't live in the house (doesn't really seem to effect married couples going on dates) I can't invite the date to sit in the car with the sim.  The controllable sim can sit in the car...but the date just freezes by the car door and is not able to be interacted with.

Boolprop on produces no error logs and forcing an error on the stuck sim is the only way to remove them from being stuck beside the car.

I'm stumped since this just seemed to appear out of nowhere and I'm getting no error logs.

There is another recent thread about his problem on some residential lots. I have experienced this myself, but I do not have any problems with two sims sitting in a car on a community lot with Maxis cars and most of the custom cars I use.

Pescado has a fix for the problem (introduced in OFB P2, apparently) that's currently in testing, though it appears to work fine.  You can get it here: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ffs/ofb/test/
