Yes, I have Norton. It has even blocked a few worms in the past few days; but as far as viruses it always shows clean.  I run Registry Mechanic daily and Webroot Something as well as Spybot Search and Destroy and one other one I can't think of at the moment. I disabled a ton of things at Start-up tonight, and apparently I disabled whatever shows Avatars because that and emoticons don't appear anymore. Oops.

I tried Systems Restoe, but that won't let me go back further than today.

It looks like I will have to mail off my computer to friends in California for an evaluation. I am at my wits end.
