Makin' Townies - error - community lot populator

Okay, what have I done?  Did the swiffer thing to a new neighborhood - deleted the character files.  Spawned the townie generator and after about the 3rd townie got this:


Error log attached.  No custom content, no hacks.

This appears to be normal. The townie generator is broken, don't use it.

k... why did it work before and not now?  wait - nevermind.  How should I make townies?  In CAS only?

As we discussed in chat, it was your tutorial I was following (for the second time, I might add - the first being successful).  Your tutorial is great!  I have no idea what went wrong but I deleted everything (waaaa) and started fresh - this time I didn't decorate my 'hood till all the newly gen'd townies were in place.  I doubt if that was the cause of the fubar but all is well now.

Curiously, instead of the 32-33 char files in the base hood (includes my sim) I have 44.  I guess the extras are NPC's?  Anyway, thanks for your help and I have it all straightened out again.  However, I'm curious about the earlier snafu and I might try to recreate it in another 'hood at another time.  I'll let you know.
