Well, I finally got it to work after a bit of fiddling (saw these instructions too late!) but somethng went wrong with the characters, so I downloaded yours and put them into my newly-created neighbourhood, together with another family.  Played them yesterday evening and went back in today, but I'm not going to continue with them, they're just too B-O-R-I-N-G.

I think maybe I will try a fantasy neighbourhood, or something, it's just the thought of downloading all the stuff I'd need that puts me off.  Perhaps it's time I went back to my original Pleasantview, seeing as I haven't been in there for more than 6 months.  They're probably all dead by now.

The neighborhood is 99% worthless. The only reason to download is just for the novelty of playing a neighborhood that we couldn't access before. I personally didn't want to play it, I just did it to figure out what exactly needed to be done in order to make it playable.

At MTS2, a lot of people seemed to be struggling to get the houses, so I guess now they'll be able to. But the houses are not very functional, since they all have diagonal walls. The diagonal walls make it impossible for sims to use a lot of the objects. I had a fire in the kitchen and no one noticed because they couldn't see past the diagonal walls. They just sat around chatting and lounging on the couch until the fire burned itself out... about six hours later. LOL

Wow.  I had forgotten how big Jane's eyes were.  She's kinda fugly.  Orange isn't her color.  And Joe is conceited.

To me they are actually fairly decent looking sims - not as hideous as some of the ones you get!

Yeah, I totally agree, having just seen Mr. Fish-Lips, a chef.
