THANKS THIS IS GREAT

OK, so I had my Sims open a restaurant. Their first customer was Lazlo Curious. I set a uniform for Sim A, a custom outfit,  no problems. Sim B got the chef outfit, also no problems. Sim C, however, no matter what type of outfit I set as a uniform for him, gets Lazlo's face. It's quite disconcerting. I'd heard of the blank face thing, but why is my Sim getting Lazlo's face? Any help, advice, hacks, or workarounds greatly appreciated.

I had the same thing happen:

http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php?topic=3287.msg103515#msg103515

Changes in sims' fitness levels seem to trigger this. The only workaround that I know of is to have them Change Appearance at any mirror and then change them back into uniform and it will give them their face back. Why it changes their faces to the ones it does (or at all for that matter) is beyond me.  Huh

Do you have the patch?  I thought the OFB patch was supposed to fix that.  It would be good to know if it didn't.

I found that happened if you issued them a preissued uniform, simply choose a new uniform from the clothes menu for each new employee.

As for the patch, when does Maxis really ever fix anything properly?

I don't have the patch, also I haven't experienced the problem.  Go figure!

Yes, I have the OFB patch. FFS didn't fix it either, nor did the patch for that.

I make a seperate uniform for each employee even if I choose the same outfit...mainly for the reason i dont want everyone to have the same hairstyle...

I quite often give them hats, so then they are the same, and mostly they all get the same uniform, though occasionally I vary the colour.  But yes, I usually do make a new one each time.
