I'm a girl, and I certainly wouldn't buy it. I've never been into the whole suburban housewife thing. I always preferred my Sex & the City.

i'm a girly, never bought into sex in the city myself, quite like DH when theres nothing else to do, but still wouldn't buy the game parts of it sound too much like Hollywood/Stepford Wives ........Before moving into the neighborhood with your husband and son, you customize the look of your housewife by selecting from hundreds of facial features, body types and clothing options.......

I like how whenever game developers try to make something that appeals to women, it tends to be really stereotypical. Like they will modify a game to add prettier clothing or something. All they have to do is make something that isn't a boring first person shooter, or yet another stupid WWII game. I think just adding more strategy and creativity to a game is enough. That and allowing the female characters to have a shred of dignity.

It's coming from Buena Vista, and they're not really known for having that good of games. Also, this sounds really story based and there actually be little in common with TS2.
The entire gaming industry has turned into a place for people to make a quick buck than just about the games. There are very few games today that are actually worth buying, and most of those worth buying are FPSes or RTSes.

I would very likely buy it. There just aren't enough games for women in the market. We need more games that aren't filled with blood and gore. Or at least, I do.

I usually like games that you can build an empire. I had hotel and casino empire and I pretty much like those games. I of course love my sims. I didn't care for that singles game. This game interests me because I like some games that have a storyline. I might check it out and see what its about.

Buena Vista Games is a video game publishing division of Disney. BVG was created to publish and license video games based on both Disney properties and original intellectual property. Once known as Disney Interactive, BVG publishes and licenses games for both the core gamer audience and children.
BVG released the following notable games:
* The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe * The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge (Developed by Capcom) * Chicken Little * Tron 2.0 * Kingdom Hearts II (Developed by Square Enix)
In 2006, the company will publish games based on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Desperate Housewives. I'm honestly not sure if this Desperate Housewives game will actually convert anyone to gaming. I bet many of the fans of the series will skip it because they can't run it or the fact they don't play games. Playboy:The Mansion was also released to cash in on TS2's success, and probably sold just because of its title. For those excited about this game though, I probably won't convince you that this game won't be great. Just don't be shocked when you find that it's probably as shallow as a console TS game.

I've found men are just as bad, if not worse gossips than women. What is it about people and gossiping? I have one sister who just can't wait to call with any 'news' she hears. I chewed her out one day, told her I didn't need to know the kind of 'news' she was 'sharing'. Sheesh! She no longer makes it a habit to let me in on everything that's going on. Nah. I won't buy this game. I have games that I enjoy and none of them are murder, mayhem, or any of the above. Shoot, they're not even gory or anything, unless you count a lion that ran out of food in his exhibit going after an ostrich bad. LOL
