Community Lot items at home

Is there a hack that allows this?
I want to be able to sell the cologne at home.

You can do it with a hacked collection (putting community objects in a communitycollection and then change it to homecollection with SimPE). There is an instruction guide somewhere out there, but I cannot remember where that was. Perhaps someone else can give you the link.
It is really very easily done, but nevertheless it means using SimPE (which some players have a dislike to or are afraid of and I do not know what kind of player you are).

Are there collections out there for all the episodes? I remember getting them for the base game and uni but I don't have them for NL or OFB. I suppose I could always hunt down the tutorial and try and do it myself. *shrug*

use the change lot zoning cheat....change to community place items, change back to residential.

I thought you had to exit and go back in again for that that work? I used to do it, but it's a pain in the butt.

At this point, I'm mainly interested in getting perfume bottles and magazines and such for home businesses.

I saw a hacked/cloned cologne bottle at MST2 for the home. (can't post link now)
I downloaded that and will try it.

Just a note, I know for me (and from reading various forums it's the case for others as well), that with OFB, the lot changing cheat is messed up and not working properly.

Hmm, I'm not sure why this is so darned hard to find now since it seemed like everyone and their brother made community to residential collections for the base game and university.

Anyway, I did find a buyable industrial stove and podium for residential lots here:

So with those we should at least be able to make restaurant home businesses.

And I knew about Monique's buyable perfume bottle, but it's an individual bottle and I kind of wanted the big display for my home salon business.

might be cheaty but hey, I want to have only home businesses (atleast for right now) and since we can't have our playable sims visit home businesses then I would have to either have only community lot businesses or have everyone own the craft stations...

I saw that, but thought 'not for me'. It's a total cheat. I'd much rather have the community lot specific NL and OFB items (did they add any new community lot only stuff?) in a collection but no one seems interested in making that apparently.
