A hack to make only local (PC) policemen show up - possible?

It's always bugged me that when your Sim calls the police, the police in your neighborhood can't show up.  I'm not sure if it would be possible, but I think it'd be pretty sweet if a mod could be made that would allow the game choose anyone whose career happens to be 'police officer' as the officer who shows up when you call.

Yes, but then your burglars would be the dumbest burglars ever, since we all know burglars nearly always fail on home lots...

But yes, several obstacles prevent the policeman from being yours: Firstly, the codes for arrestations and whatnot are buried in the template BHAVs, and secondly, the entire police summoner would have to be altered. It's potentially doable, but at this stage, not worth the effort.

Just a pity, really, they had to give us the law enforcement career and the criminal Career and didn't stick to ones that NPCs don't do!
