PS. For anyone that remembers... about the pretty evil thing I did to my sister's game. She finally noticed about a few weeks ago while she was playing. In her Pleasantview, she had one of her sims go to college and use the Uni directory. Apparently, it lists sims in alphabetical order (by first name of course ) and 'lo and behold, the first name that pops up is that of her ex. Hehehe. If anyone recalls, I made a sim that sort of looks like her ex, and then I hijacked one of the dormies in her game and used SimPE's Sims Surgery to replace his skin and renamed him.

I'm glad you found it amusing. But see... my sister's sim is Fortune, not Romance. See... she has a knack for finding sugar daddies, as I said.

Anyways, I ended up redoing this in her other 'hood with our sim family. So... let's see how she reacts when she finally gets around to playing us and sending her self sim off to college, and she runs into him for the 2nd time. I wonder if she will still think it's Maxis thing.

And actually... I really love my sister. We are like twins, even though we're 5 years apart. Every thing we hate about ourselves, we see it in each other. And every thing we say, do, and what not, we can't help it that we are so alike sometimes. It's kind of freaky.

I'm sure she'll be upset at first, but she'll just think I'm a stupid ass for it. And plus, I don't really live at home right now, so I won't have to worry about it.

The thing is, I was hoping she'd play our family sooner. I don't know if she'll ever get around to it. Hehe. Let's just hope she never gets around to actually browsing these sims sites I've showed her. So far... she sticks to just downloading stuff from MTS2 and doesn't actually post or anything. Heheh.

As for the guides, they don't really seem worth it. Prima I believe has digital versions that you can order online for only $9.99. But regardless, the info doesn't seem all that useful or interesting to me. I don't really care about the specific values/stats for objects and interactions. Especially with SimPE, if I was really interested, I could just root through the "code" but meh.

But they look really nice sitting next to the other guides and the TS2 cases sitting on my computer bookshelf.

I pre-ordered from my local EB Games and they reckon the date is about the 6th March.  The store is run by women and they remember who you are and acknowledge you when you walk in etc so I make a point of shopping there.  The staff ring me the morning that the game comes in, so I just keep my mobile handy and if it the game is released early, I get a call early.

btw I'm back at uni now, so I'm madly trying to get all my presentations & assignments done before OFB comes out as there is no way I'll be doing it after OFB is released

I never preorder.  The way I look at it is that if you order it somewhere you'll either get it right away or a week or two after the release date.  Also, you will miss out on some good deals later on such as gift cards and copies as cheap as $20.

As for Prima Guides?  You're better off waiting a few months to get more accurate info here.

As for the robot thing, I find it oddly hilarious that Servo can make other servos.  Let's say someone makes a servo, the servo ends up killing its creator because he has a desire to kill all humans and then makes an army of Servo to destroy the rest of the neighborhood.  There's still hope for J.M's LTW for those robots for "Kill all Humans".

Amazon almost always overestimates shipping dates and such, so I usually get things several days before they said I would.  I wasn't very excited about OFB at first, but I really missed Servo and can't wait for my first death by elevator.  I don't suppose the new workbenches include a gnome workbench, like in Sims 1.  I used to have my Sims stay home and make gnomes all day to sell for $150 each, unless some jackass like Mortimer Goth decided to come by and kick one of the gnomes, causing them all to explode.  I killed him so many times.  Man, the death by starvation in a square of fence used to take forever!  I wonder if they're going to bring back the fireworks.
