Sentry bot - think what the modders can do with this one

Ok - Skimming the posts at the BBS anout OFB, someone posted the description of the "sentry bot". I've highlighted the parts that I think would be interesting interactions for "certain" modders to do "something" with:

SentryBot:

**Cost to make: §360
**Made with "Non-deadly" robot crafting station
**Need Silver talent badge

This Bot will shoot stun rays at any burglar trying to enter your lot, and once the burglar recovers they will take off running. This bot will also "react to" passing Sims who try and steal your newspaper, kick over your trash can, or mess with/try to steal your gnomes or flamingoes. SentryBot can climb stairs and use the elevator. When he is malfunctioning or broken he will treat random Sims on the lot just like they are a burglar, shooting them with the stun ray which causes electrocution and sometimes even death. Repairing him will return him to normal.

Just imagine the possibilities with this one...........

Somewhat related - I preordered the game and stategy guide from Gamestop. When I first ordered, it indicated that the guide was to ship by 2/24. Now when I check the website, it says that the guide won't ship until 2/27. I hope that they don't handle the shipment of the game the same way.

What has been people's experience with Gamespot? (this is my first time ordering from them) Do they deliver when they say they will or is this their usual MO to push out delivery dates without informing the people that have placed the order?

I was just hoping they had the guide.  I called and they don't have it until Monday.  Perhaps I can sucker ask nicely for the guide for my birthday. 

I just realized there's a few things I'm going to need this payday:  the guide, the game, and Walk The Line comes out on Tuesday.

Hehe sounds cool it needs to be modded to add functionality to zap the cow mascot, cheerleaders and other annoying pests think how good that'd be.  Cheerleader races in and starts cheering moment later she's on the floor twitching with sparks coming off her.

I called my local EB Games last night, they said it'd be there today.  I called today...

"Nope, I don't have that yet."

After Monday, it's not in our shipment queue yet."

Called just now, they were "supposed to get it today" but they didn't, so it "should be in tomorrow."

Europe, possibly. University was delayed here for, hm, about a week after release in North America. However, NL wasn't, so I don't know why they'd delay OFB.

I did have to go to a department store to get NL, because the EB Games in Helsinki said they wouldn't have it in for a few days. Whatever, guys.

I give it two weeks before someone turns it into a sexbot with optional furry accessories. *SIGH*

Seriously, what I would like to see is a human skin for it. I didn't like Servo before...I kept waiting for him to go nuts and destroy all humans. I would keep a close eye on him at 2 am.

Also, is this implying that there will be a "deadly robot" crafting station?

I AM in North America, and if they release it the 125h, I will kill something.

I'm more worried about J.M. they won't be delivering it to his bunker for quite some time, which means no Awesome hacks for a long time.  I've been thinking of asking him if there'd be a way to help i think with uni he was sent a copy of some of the core files used to make the mods.

...you know you just worried me, by reminding me how random Maxis does stuff.  Like for this sentry bot "and sometimes even death" now in Maxis terms that probably means a 100% chance of them dropping dead from a shock.

Even if i try i can never electricute my sims.  I mean send a sim with no mechanical to repair the computer and nudda.  Although the trash compactor has a high chance of dusting anyone that tries to fix it, even a repairman with max mechanical.

Is that one of the objects you can spawn?  Because i've tried boolprop and breaking a tv or stove but despite clicking the break or whatever it is option it just doesn't work.
