Getting a whole site is expensive and a lot of creators at TSR are forever stuck there lol. Sometimes I wonder at the attraction of TSR to these talented creators  It can't be the free days. Serious creators create and don't play much. |

Hey, speaking of VS - remember all that kerfuffle about VampCat casually reproducing twojeff's mods and not even bothering to tell people looking for TJ where to find him? One of the results of that spat was I got banned - erm, put on 'Read Only'. I and a few others asked for our accounts to be deleted and we were told, 'not to worry, after 3 months without any activity your account will be deleted'.

Uhh no, that is not correct information. I had an account there that I set up the day I discovered Pescado (two days before he moved here, as it turns out  ), and I forgot about it when I came here. But recently I wanted to download a Carrigonian hack and I had to register. I put in my old username and password that I made back then, and it still worked fine. So accounts don't seem to get culled (and I didn't even have a single post). |

So glad I saved her PMs to me on the topic on this forum for posterity. I am not about to delete anymore accounts because then you all post elsewhere that I deleted you accounts for no reason. I set you as read only since no activity on your account for 30 days will force a password change and 60 days after that the account will disappear. If you no longer want the account simply not using it will do what you wish. |

I don't understand wht do you call it "abandon"... . It's so natural movement, that hardly I can call it "abandonning". It's the Creator's strive to independence. Reggiko, who is a Senator here, has her own site; Brynne, Senator too - has her own site; not to mention members like Inge, Ausieone, and others, that have their own site long time. None of them "abandoned" MATY - isn't it? I am really sorry, that the leave of VS by JMP was accompanied by quarrel, and misunderstood by Rentech. But JMP's leave was quite normal, as he wanted to be independet too. ...Nothing unusual... . What bothers me is, that some sites don't permit to post the URL of others sites (like VS about MATY), and we, the players, "eat all the s...t". |

I missed that! *never should have taken that break from sims 2* I didn't use my VS account for over 5 months and it still works, she isn't going to delete accounts, that would make the number of members go down  Gali, I believe JM left because he disagreed with whats her name, over site policy...you know that damn kid friendly shit, god forbid the little shits read a swear word on a forum when they can hear worse on tv  I even call my daughter a little shit sometimes so nobody should bother getting their panties in a bunch about it. |

That's very flattering, but I hardly put myself on the level with all those others. I just wanted a place that I could share stories of my characters, since they were beginning to get some recognition, here. Completely different type thing, and I never saw it as a matter of it coming down to this forum or mine. I can do both just fine. You ain't losing me just yet! |

I dunno about that. I was trying to watch Dead like Me for the first time, and lost interest because there was a particular scene where every second word was bleeped out. It was incredibly annoying. I always wanna ask this question over there but I am afraid this is a forbidden question or something. The mods are pretty you know ...strict. They locked threads when you discuss topics they don't like... such as questioning why stories forums are in off topic (most recent case I read) and some other crap issues. |
