possible stupid question regarding maternity wear

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

is there any possible way to change which maternity outfit your sim gets lumbered with?  some of them are just downright ugly - I know we don't have to look at them for all that long, but it would be nice to have some say in what your sims are going to wear while pregnant...  possible, or are we stuck with what the game chooses?

Your options at the wardrobe (Plan Outfit) should include Maternity.  Of course, it's kinda difficult to buy any additional maternity outfits because pregnant Sims can't leave the house, so there may well just be the one outfit available.

I don't think that it's even possible to look good while that bloated.

I don't really see the difference. They still look terrible.

yes - they are terrible, but some are less terrible than others...  is there a way to make them have the less terrible ones instead?

I've never seen an option to plan maternity wear or buy other options...

There is no option to plan maternity wear, maybe that's the maternity wear hack... In any case, it's only for three days. And you could have them walking around in their pajamas instead if their maternity clothes are that horrible. Of course that's assuming their maternity pajamas aren't horrible too.

Trouble with that is the number of baths or showers they need!  They do nothing but still get incredibly dirty!

I really hope that this is a sim reference and not real life.  Women want to believe it when people tell them they are glowing and blooming...no-one wants the beached whale truth. Smiley

Do I look like somebody who lies merely to spare someone's feelings? Feelings are for wusses.

ok, so it definitely can't be done at the moment...  is there a reliable hack to allow it that isn't going to cause my game to explode, or can one be made?

not sure if this will help but there is a computer that will let you shop online which you can only by maternity clothes when your pregnant.  but if you find some you like you can buy them and then pick instead of letting it be random.

Besides, glowing is probably a very bad thing if you're pregnant, unless you like funny-looking mutant children.

where do I find it?  I spent some time trying to search, but came up with nothing but vague references to things out there that could do it - and only broken links when they were given
