Bah, how useless. Sooner or later I'll do a real proper Valentine's day that *TRULY* commemorates the spirit of the day.

Good gods, that's all hideous. The description on the stupid 'art' one just screams 'bitter and whiny about being single'.

Me neither - hopefully they'll sort it out later and then we can go over and revile it in peace.

That only shows how many people clicked on the button, now how many people got it in the game.

The teddy bear thing is beginning to scare me. First the bear that came with the game, a download of it in a bunny suit, that weird huge one that comes with OFB and now this one. It's like they're multiplying! Shocked

Well, a lot of them did work on Toy Story!

God, the heart hair looks like something little kids wore back in the 70's and early 80's!  I remember my niece having some when she was about 4!

Maybe Maxoid Monkey should take a course at a decent hairdressing school!

That's what Heather Castello of simFreaks told me - and she's met a lot of them.  It also explains the doll house looking furniture compared to the more realistic sims 1 - which mayn't have been 3Dm but most of it was far more attractive!

Valentine's Day is a woman's "holiday" created by women who create cards for other special female occasions.
Thank you Hallmark for giving us this special day.

Valentine's Day is a Saint's Day which commemorates the very unpleasant martyrdom of Saint Valentine!

It has merely been hijacked by the greetings card trade!

I believe that's what I had previously stated, in a more roundabout and somewhat offensive way.

And isn't it interesting then that Valentine's Day was born from Lupercalia?

Which would contradict the fact that it was women who created Valentines day wouldnt it? To also note that in fact it was a man that sent out the first "valentines" to his wife expressing his love for her while he was imprisioned...guess he didnt want her to forget about him during the Lupercalia festival...heh.

Richard Lovelace?  ("I could not love thee dear so much, loved I not honour more!")

Oh, and the Twelve Days of Christmas and the whole medieval Lord of Misrule came from Saturnalia too!  since the ordinary laws, such as they were, did not apply at that time, rape was the order of the day - I somehow think that idea was created by men too!

I find the "I Heart Art" object rather amusing.  The Japanese style of the artwork suggests to me it would go VERY well your downtown Nihon where store owners make a killing merchandising on holidays that the citizens just don't 'get' except that it's another reason to buy someone a gift and thus rope that someone into owing them a gift in return.

I think I prefer that!  By the way, I've just created a family using your dark blue skin - it really looks superb in my game!  They have red eyes from The Real Sim and various red-streaked custom hair - very dramatic!
