Cow Head

Erm, I'm trying to make a kind of custom cow head using the mesh from Uni, that will stay on the sims head while swimming, instead of being like a hat, any ideas on how I could get it to not do that? Like any tutorials or little hints on what I need to change? Im kind of a n00b but I really want a swimming cow etc  |

I think all you'd need to do would be to change the cow costume and cow head in SimPE to swimwear.

Ive done the costume with jsut bodyshop jsut selecting all the items, but I don't get how Id turn the head into swimable?
Like which parts am I altering and what codes? I need someone jsut do do it for me, but I want to learn how...

have you tried MTS2 or the BBS Exchange?
Im pretty sure I have seen downloadable cow skins

I'd ask the person who you got it from. The only one I know of is Morague at VS but maybe someone else has done it, too. Might be worth a try.

I have the head i just want to change it, so he can swim in it and I can't really get anything off MTS2 I've tried the tutorials. What's BBS exchange? Would any of them actually answer my messages?  |

The BBS exchange is the sims2.com site. I doubt you'd find an answer there unless you're expert at finding your way around a maze! I'm sure eventualy someone will see your post who knows how to help you, but remember, a lot of people are away over New Year, or if not away, then inundated at work catching up what wasn't done over the holidays, and aren't online as much as usual.

I wonder if there is anyway you could make the cow head be classified as hair? That is the only thing the sims actually don't change when they are swimming. Apologies if it is a stupid suggestion, I have no idea on how to do stuff like that.  |

Oh yeeer, tha's what I did, although I haven't done it on the cow head I found out how to classify it as hair, all by myself  so Ill be doing it with the cow ASAP, and Ill probably postcow pack on MTS2. |

Well, it looks like this thread has been read almost 200 times. Probably people don't know the answer to the question and don't respond. I am not even sure if this is possible, although the idea of getting it classified as hair may seem your best bet. I know sims take their hats off when swimming, and mascots always shed their costumes when swimming anyway.
