Pedestrian portal problem?
« on: 2005 December 25, 16:35:46 »
THANKS THIS IS GREAT

On one of my campus lots (Greek house) the controllable sims are unable to walk off the lot. They will just throw a fit and stomp their feet and then go do something else. The NPC's and Townies have no problem strangely enough. The car portals, both service and ownable, have no problem either.

Anyone have any suggestions of how to fix this?

Perhaps a stuck kicky bag is in the way? Try blasting the area around the portal with stuck object removers (Save first in case you blow up the portal).

Ok I will do that. I checked the FFS Lot debugger and nothing showed up but as you said before sometimes that is not enough.

 Grin Found the problem.

There was a garden gate on the tile next to the portal and apparently that was too close.
I just deleted the gate normally and everything is working well.
