I have been creating a new neighborhood for my game. I have have found the "perfect" lots to go with my theme. These lots are all made by the same designer. Most of the lots have loaded without any problems, but four lots never show up in my lots bin. I can find the custom content in the downloads folder.
At first I thought that terrain paints was the main source of the problem, but one lot doesn't have it. Any suggestions on how to work through this issue? Thanks.

I assume you are positive they are not Uni lots?

Have you tried installing them with the Cleaninstaller?

Answers to questions: 1) The lots are for Night Life 2) I did install with Clean Installer. To to be sure, I tried to reinstall one with Clean Installer and this error box came up: "System.Xml.Xml Expection........" with various lines.
I swear that error box didn't show up before. *bangs head on desk*
Now what? Any suggestion is welcome!

Have you tried installing them one at a time? I was recently building a new section of my hood and imported a few lots and found that occaisionally if I was trying to import lots by the same designer that they would overwrite the teleport file somehow. I had to install one, load the game up, open the lot bin, close the game install the next. Etc.

Thanks, Jorenne! I tried your suggestion before I started this thread. That's when the error box came up.
So do I delete what I downloaded today and try again?

If you remember where you got those lots from I would try to redownload them in case they got corrupted in the download process.

I redownloaded the same lot. Again I got the error box with Clean Installer.
I guess I'll just have to make my own lot. I can assure you that my lot will not even come close to the same quality as the lot I tried to install.
Thanks for the suggestion, MissDoh.

Thanks! I'll have to check out that site. The builder I'm using is a member of this forum and another forum I use. I'm making a medieval neighborhood. Usually (not always) my technical problems tend to be ones that I accidently cause. I was hoping that that it would be a simple problem to correct.

Are you sure they are unoccupied lots? Lots with sims already living in them go in a different bit of the lot bin

Hmmmmmm,
Try moving the content of the teleport folder elsewhere as well, just in case. That's the folder that contains houses to be imported. Might be something that is sitting in there that is causing the problem..
try my technique. Try extracting the package file with multipacksim2extractor (or something like that) into a folder.. Move the entire folder to your download folder. Open the package file with clean installer and uncheck everything except for the lot. Save this under a new name. Try installing your new file.

Unoccupied lots, Emma, but thanks. Ah, angelyne, I hit tech overload with your suggestion. Mulitpacksim2extractor?

Ooh-I just thought-have you more than 1 neighbourhood? I have downloaded some lots (about 8 in all), and only 4 of them showed up...my daughter went on her n'hood, and all 8 of the d'loaded houses were in her lot bin. When I went back on mine again-all the houses I had downloaded were all in the lot bin. Try loading another n'hood and checking the bin, it might work for you!

SL Diva or TS2 Drama Queen? Uh...both!

If you're not unpacking the files and you are extracting them, put them in the LotCatalog and not Downloads. They should show up then.

Thanks for the suggestions! Finally had success! I don't know if Emma's suggestion of looking in another neighborhood or Angelyne's suggestion of removing the files in the teleport file did the trick, but I found the lot. Another firiend downloaded the lot and had the same error so now I need to give the bad news to the builder. This was certainly a group effort!!! Appreciate it!
