Is it safe to delete this useless NPC?

My Sim called in sick, and this -naturally- generated a usless NPC. IS it safe to delete this NPC?

I don't think she has any relatipnship with anyone, but just thought I'd ask people more awsome than me just to be one the safe side. I plan on using the Phone Hack so it won't happen again.

Yes, you can delete them.  I had one of these myself and deleted them, although mostly I got Sims already in that career.  Cassandra was a popular one in the Science career.

I'm pretty sure that JM has a mod that prevents that NPC from being generated. Phone hack, maybe?

Yes, in the first post rma said he/she was going to start using the phone hack so this didn't happen again.

I always wonder, though, how you recognise these unnecessary characters.  For example, in the hood I'm playing at the moment, I have four or five drivers from before the nonpcspam etc days, all of whom have loads of gossipy memories.
