Need a mod that slows down skill gaining

Title says it all really. I play with extended life, but feel it's getting too Op when sims gaining skills at the regular speed- I tried downloading this mod : http://www.modthesims.info/d/486247/faster-slower-and-or-hidden-skills-updated-for-into-the-future-1-67-update-19-7-14.html
But it doesn't seem to influx skill gaining at all. Maybee it's not updated far enough. Anyone that can help me with a link to a mod that works?

Increased skill difficulty is a configurable functionality of AwesomeMod, but beyond that I don't really know of anything else. Perhaps Twallan has something.
