Hard Drive Crash

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Ok, I did something dumb.  I erased a program without knowing the consequences.  Those being I would erase part of IE and parts of Windows Exe.  So to fix said problem we installed Windows on top of itself.  It looks like I lost everything.  I have some cc on CD, but most of everything was stored on second HD.  I can find the hacks and clothes etc. again but I need a few programs I seem to have lost.  Can anyone help me find the program that will list all I have in my DL file?  And MTS2 doesn't seem to be working again.  It says downloads will be slow but I can't get anything to DL at all!  Help, I'm in agony!

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Once I had a hard drive crash, but I was linked to a company that makes reconstuction of the hard drive, so I didn't lose anything.

...But it costed me about 300$...Smiley.

Thanks for the sympathy, even though it was my own fault.  I should know better than to mess around with that type of thing.  I'm sooo un mechanically inclined it's not even funny.  (At leat it isn't anymore!)  Now I know I need to let others mess around in the computer.  That way if it blows up it won't be my fault.  Anyway, I have clean installer (just redownloaded as Modthesims2 is up and running now) and it's not that program I'm remembering.  It was a prgram you that you have on your desktop, hit the button and it makes a text file of all the items in your downloads folder.  I think I remember someone here mentioning it.  I was so excited not to have to write the whole stupid folder out by hand any more!  Anyway thanks in advance.
