You know, I just now realized that the sims doesn't have breastfeeding, and that that is probably rather unrealistic (also, unhealthy for the sim-children! Maybe they have better formula in simland). If it did, however, this challenge would much easier. Also, that Jack Thompson guy would probably have an aneurysm.

I'll take a guess that you're supposed to just let the babies starve, but somehow prevent the SS from showing up. Seems rather cruel even for J.M., if that is the case. And I've seen those social workers walk right through a brick wall without blinking before, so it has to be something more hackish but still on the approved list. |

Well, babies are easy. They can be grown up in 24 Sim hours, and if you plan their birth right, it's minimal for wait times. They can last for that 24 hours without being fed. Toddlers present more of a challenge, but it can be done as well.

OK I guess this is too awesome for me, even if you pop out the kid at 5:59 and it ages at 6, it will technically still be over 24 sim hours the next day at 6, would should invoke the SS routine. And you cant buy a cake to grow it up early, so you have to rely on the parents tossing the kid appropriately at the right time, which never ever works for me, ever. I can only grow babies into toddlers with cake, and even then its dodgy, seems only the moms in my game can do it. Unless I can use a hacked object to select the baby and tell it to grow up (which has never worked either), but I dont know of any that are on the "approved" list.
I guess I will just have to try it and have oodles of kids taken away, not unlike my experience with Sims1.

Okay - Here's another guess: Vampiric Toddlers! I'm going to go try that now and see if it works.
Followup: No, it didn't work. You can't bite toddlers. Disappointing, really.

They can only be grown up in 24 hours without cheats if you use the cake, and the cake is food. I don't get it.  |

My curiousity has gotten the best of me. This is one challenge that I must defeat...rather the social worker comes or not.
(Do they even have social workers in Ethiopia lol)
I have created a custom hood..appropriatly entitled...Ethiopia :p

Actually the wife died first during pregnancy. I should have thought to remove her tombstone..starving ethiopians and ghosts do not mix.
I was getting really bored though. Perhaps this is a challenge too awesome for me :p

OK I tried this with a husband and wife-and failed. Same as skandelouslala, my wife died in pregnancy. This is driving me bugshit-and I'm not playing this anymore *goes off to sulk*  I'm going to do the email challenge instead |
