Lot Challenge: (August 2013) I want to go somewhere new

IMO there are too few custom shops and spaces out there for download. People sometimes make night spots and even less frequently gardens, parks and libraries. With the use of downloadable rugs or doors based on those made by Jynx I want you to make me the local soccer field as a stadium rabbit hole. I want not just your firehouse and tattoo parlour but also your drive in, spa, hospital and school. Make me some public spaces, people.

Rules - amended

• must have a real door into any building (the rabbit holes are not dual function portals)
• must supply proper usability for its 'purpose' - rabbit hole must be accessible
• if there should be toilet facilities (etc) IRL then there must be IGL
• lot size is not a rule
• imaginary bonus points for any lot type that's never been done before (so research and spork your competitions creations)
• CC allowed where link or actual CC made available to downloader - links are better so they can see what they're getting
• EA Premium Object use encouraged

Just a quick question about spawners, as I know there is a bug if the lot is rotated before it is placed. Considering this bug, should my lot have gem/insect/etc [other than plants and fish] spawners or should I leave them off?

Only such spawners as are lot sensible, but I figure we're all smart enough to take off any over generation of spawners.

Or, to put it another way -   There are no rules about spawners what so ever.

Alchemy Acres - Visitors Allowed. 20 x 30 lot. Built with all EPs and SPs, and using some store stuff - mostly the store magic set, a dragon egg and Supernatural items. No other CC.

You see an eerie lot, with an illegible sign. You go through the big gates.



There is a small pond on one side, and a tidy garden on the other, with a strange glowing creature.





You head in the door.



Inside, you find a bookshelf and some comfy lounges. A set of shelves seems to contain oddities.  There is an old radio next to a table full of expired potions. A strange contraption sits in the middle of the room, reflecting the full moon.



You head down the stairs. Downstairs is cramped and full of books. Stacks of books on the floor and walls covered in shelves. More expired potions sit on a table, and a strange coffin is up against the wall.







You inspect the larger bookcase, it reveals a hidden room! A cauldron, alchemy stand and gem cutter are placed in the dim room.



You inspect the other bookcase, and it too reveals a room full of magic.



An old spellcasting podium is tucked into one corner, there are wands on the table and walls. You see a strange green egg just sitting on the floor, and an old phone booth in the back, squished up against an old armiore.

Features alchemy plant garden, fishing spot for alchemy related fish, alchemy insect and gem/metal spawners, skilling bookcase, LLAMA, alchemy station, jelly bean tree and a few other odds and ends.

That is stunning and really appeals to my sense of mystery and magic. Lots of surprises in there, I reckon.

I can't wait to check it out. I haven't played with the magic in the Sims. I really like what I see, great job, Skadi.

Why thank you! I made it for hoods without all the Supernatural spawners. You can set it to "Library" if you want the faster skill learning too.
