Yeah, but I prefer crazy-eyed ventriloquist dummies to pudding.   Grin

To each their own.    Wink

At least in TS2 the birthday cake didn't undergo spontaneous combustion and nearly take a few Sims with it.  I've had that blasted cake set a kitchen on fire TWICE now in TS3.

Kill it with fire?  Kill 'em with a birthday cake!  Cheesy

Pudding can be overcome with sliders. I do miss the TS2 genetics, though.

Am I the only one that misses the photo album from TS2?  My favourite thing was taking large, beautiful screenshots and being able caption them, in-game.  Whenever I'd go back to a fambly I'd look through the photo album to refresh myself on their little story.  I don't feel like I can do that in TS3, or am I missing something?

You mean neighborhood story? Haven't seen that in TS3 so far.  I liked that in TS2 as well.

No it was called "Story Mode" but there was one album for each household.  I used to cracked myself up taking pictures and captioning them.  Cheesy

I find that in TS3, it's hard to keep a record of stories, as it were.  The memory system kind of tries to impose its own story, but I want my captions!

That's what I meant, I believe there's a button on the UI for it. Haven't played it in a while as I'm de-noobing myself at TS3.

something relevant to this discussion I found, a tool that allows you to create a custom mod to selectively disable certain types of memories.
