Installation help?

After about 20 minutes of trying to register just to ask a fucking question, I finally got it.
Anyway, I discovered this mod yesterday, and after following the instructions, I downloaded it.
I open up The Sims 3, and it gives me a warning like "Warning! There is a non-critical mismatch..yadayadayada"
So I hit ignore, and all is well till I get to my Sims house, then as soon as I move the camera it crashes.
I tried deleted all the mods, and all kinds of shit.
Then I realized "owait, I have 1.42 patch.."
So I manually install the 1.47 patch because Origin isn't working, and I try to open the game..
"PLEASE INSERT THE SIMS 3 PETS CD"
areyoufuckingkiddingme.
I should add, I have all torrent versions of the games.
inb4 omg thats illegal.
SO,
I'm here to ask if there's anyway I can download the 1.42 version of this mod, to save a lot of hassle.

You're right. I totally didn't think to google the problem.
I read the manual, I googled, I tried to install the patch.
I cracked the game because I'm a broke ass.
So what do you suggest?

Don't use Origin.
Don't crack.
Patch 1.47 is the latest patch? ORLY?
AM is always updated to the latest patch only, period.

We make registering hard because your "question" is fucking stupid and we try to discourage that sort of shit around here. But, I'm in a nice(ish) mood today so I'll help.

Questions have question marks at the end. You never actually asked a question, just made a lot of stupid statements.
Patch to the latest patch.
Don't crack your game. Use either AM or Twallan's no-cd package.
Use the MTS Patcher, not Origin.

Don't hit the play button on the launcher, use the exe in the game bin.

ETA: This has definitely been covered about a bajillion times, but due to fever I just don't want to see it post again.
