Can't add traits manually to my sims

When I am in CAS I can't change my sims traits manually, I just have to randomise them or the game shuts down. Am I asking a stupid question that's most likely related to updating my mods or is there actualy another issue?

Of course it's related to your mods! what, do you think that your game have decided to make you a joke and hidden the option of adding traits? When that will happen Skynet will rule the earth! *facepalm*

Did you even go through the barebone basics of removing all the mods and testing? Do you even know what this "testing" thing is?
