Since Patching...

Since I added the new patch and updated AM, I keep getting these stupid balloon messages about every dumb townie action, like "Jimmy now works in Culinary!" and "Susie met Alex!" etc etc. It's extremely annoying and I was hoping one of you fine people know how to turn this inane babble off. I checked the AM Configure tool, but there doesn't seem to be any option in there for it...

The thread title is very bad. A thread title should describe the intent of the thread, and, as a general rule, should not end with an ellipsis. You should work on that.

Look harder. This is a feature, not a bug.
It is disabled by default, so you're the one who turned it on.

@MizzCerise On the AM Config page look under "Console & Debug Features" for "InformOnStoryAction" and make sure it's disabled.
