Would anyone update this mod?

I need a mod to stop these damn elevators from breaking. this is what I found, but it's not compatible with inTeen (durr) and also hasn't been updated since 2006 and since I have all EP's up to AL, that just doesn't seem safe to me.

Would someone do this for me?

So is there any mod around that does the same? I'd be fine with a mod that prevents all appliances from breaking as long as it includes the elevator and won't turn my game into a raging ball of fire. Or just any solution to my problem.

You could solve your problem by getting rid of InTeen.

Sure, I guess. But then this hack still hasn't been updated since 2006. Can any of you say if it's safe to use with AL? Or will I just have to find out myself?
Could I maybe use this tutorial to mod the elevator myself?

You could, for example, test the mod in your game.  I know that sounds crazy, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
