sims can't shower/take a bath/go to sleep/..

hello,
I have the sims 2 base game only. I downloaded a lot of stuff in it but now my sims won't shower/take a bath/go to sleep/.. anymore. They go and stand in front of it and suddenly the action is cancelled. It think it has something to do with the things I downloaded. But is there any way to figure out which download is causing the problem?
