Is there any way this could be updated for the new EPs, or is there a thread already posted for this?
Are you volunteering?

Well, there goes my One Big Chance at winning the Building Contest of Awesomeness, since my bribe was to update the hack descriptions (I've already done the update on my own computer, but there's no need to bother submitting it now).
Oh well.
Edited because I can't spell sometimes.

I noticed the coffeecup hack is not in the download list anymore. Was this removed for some reason? I like to download it.
Have you checked the Director's Cut file (moreawesomethanyou.zip)? I believe it's still in there.

It is still in the Seasons directory. If you want the hack description then download and RTFM!

You may be looking for phonehack.zip instead of phonefix.zip.

Hi all! I've been long gone for a while, but wnated to reinstall some hacks after Seasons. IS there an updated moreexpensive services and pay for private school hack anywhere? Don't seem to see it in the files.
Thanks!

Both of those are in the Director's Cut, but they don't seem to be up for download individually.

Hi all,
yes, I'm aware that I'm guilty of necromancy and yes, this is my first post here. Do point and laugh and poke with pointy stuff. However, I have compiled all the FFS hacks descriptions in a single pretty document, so I thought I'd share.
So, wanna see OCD in action? Get this neatly bulleted, formatted, and colour-coded document containing all the descriptions of hacks in BV directory, plus Director's Cut exclusives (plus the fruitbowl
).
Dark red descriptions are for hacks not included in DC.
Indigo descriptions are for DC exclusives or hacks that lack the original manual for other reasons (these brief descriptions are mostly copied from various forums around).

Nice to know I've been helpful
frankie, I'm not installing FT anytime soon, so, no, I'm not going to update this. I'm guessing that new and updated hacks are in "Firing Range" so you'll only need those descriptions added.

Me again
Double posting so this post doesn't go unnoticed. I've updated descriptions for FT. There are few changes, and seeing that the patch is up on the german site, this will probably get outdated very soon, but here you go anyway.

Thank you so much for putting this list together! It really has been helpful for me, knowing which hacks to download from this list:

I'm new to this site and new to hacks in TS2, so I need all the helpful info I can get!

cheshire_cat,
Thank you so much for this list that you compiled and shared with us!
I just started playing Life Stories about 2 weeks ago, and I liked it enough that it motivated me to arr-quire TS2+EP's up to BV.
When I first started looking around for game mods for TS2, I was totally boggled by the number of files in the DC for Bon Voyage -- but your list has been very helpful to me in sorting out what I need.
THANKS!

What about descriptions for hacks in the Test folder. Are they to be found anywhere at all?

No, because they're still in testing, and if you don't know what they do you shouldn't be using them.

This item is now just "ofbfixes". It replaces waiterfixes, bandatronmovefixes, and adds other fixes for OFB+. See new RTFM. Too much bother maintaining individual seperate fixes now.

Any one willing to do a breakdown description on the new shiny Autonomy Control system so I can understand how to use it to its full potential. I see in Pescado description you can stop Autonomy with one Sim or with many but by many is it just the lot or whole hood? Can this hack work in reverse to make say non-autonomy reward objects autonomous?

Both. It's up to you. You can proscribe things by any level of organization recognized by the game: Individual Sims, individual households, individual lots, or the entire neighborhood. No, it does not work in reverse: A non-autonomous object has none of the hooks needed to induce a sim to use it autonomously.

Mean sims do not return to 0 relationship with their enemies, nor do they automatically become bestest-buddies with people they are furious at. Also tweaks rel-decay to give you enough time to fix it before it starts plummeting.

Does nodeanspam still exist? I searched the uni and nl folders, and it doesn't appear to be there. I don't think there's anything in my game that makes me redundant, and since I batch-play semesters and years in uni, I have quite the accumulation.

It's not maintained anymore, so no. If you still have it, it probably still works.

I think he meant that it makes evil versions of those toys that aren't good for anything. The water wiggler is actually useful for bathing dogs, and the hack thoughtfully allows evil sims to make the properly functioning version of that toy. The evil version makes weeds or malfunctions in some other stupid way.
The kites and jack-in-the-box toys are mostly useless in their good incarnation, so evil sims make evil versions of those toys. The evil versions actually function
better
