AwesomeMod is, well, Awesome - New Version & Install

It's been a while since I last used AwesomeMod. I have a few basic questions:

• Will it work with everything up to Outdoor Living?
• Which thread do I use for download?
• Which thread do I use for install instructions?

I only ask because some of the threads don't look like they've been touched in a while.

• The one stickied two threads above this called "AWESOMEMOD! SHINY! WIP - Download & Announcements"
• The one stickied directly above this one called "HOW TO INSTALL THE FRAMEWORK AND AWESOMEMOD", though it's really just as easy as setting up the Custom Content framework and putting awesome.package in the "My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages" directory

A quick Google Search or even just a good dose of Lurkmoar can work wonders.

It isn't the EP/SP that you need.  AM isn't based on any specific EP/SP, it is based on patch, or version numbers.  If you have OLS and are not fully patched, then AM won't work.  If you have OLS and the base game is patched to 1.19, then the current AM is fine, if you are patched to 1.22 then you need to new test version, in which case as you really seem not to know what you're doing, I would suggest waiting until the testing is over.

Well my former posts in here might say I don't either, but that's due to not knowing aesomemod for long. However I would like to try out the test version, as my game can't seem to function without AM. So I might as well see if I can help out and get to play this way. Just one Question: I can't seem to find the testversion download anywhere, am I just confused here?

If you can't find the test version, you shouldn't be using it.

Yeah, my bad. I guess my brain got infected with the lysdexia, because I read that as "Generations" for some reason.

And here I just put mine in for a service, won't be back for at least a couple of days... I would say precisely, but, duh! The Crystal Ball is in for a service!

Incidentally, the test version is working just fine for me. No obvious bugs or glitches to report. Then again, I've hardly had time today to play, so that might explain the lack of observable data....

I don't know.....in my game, all the Generations features are there, but not functional.  The body hair is only available in TAB form, and the "capture moment" button doesn't work.  In fact, none of my sims will perform any action whatsoever.  Is anyone else having this problem?

I don't know about revolting Sims, but until somebody retextures that body hair it fits my idea of revolting - looks like somebody took a texta to them.

I just checked AwesomeMod, and it's dated for May 19th.  Is it even updated for Generations yet?

You have to pass an IQ test to use the test version.

Well I fail the IQ test too because in spite of prolonged searching I can't find a download for the purported and very secret "test version".
Unsure if this is even the correct version as I do NOT have Generations - but am all patched up. Would be grateful for relatively polite suggestions.

Especially since with a quick use of the search box you'd be able to find it in minutes. But since you'd have to look further down than five posts most don't find it.

Strangely enough I had used the search quite a lot. But thanks to a couple of members here, I now know the secret and am putting it here in case others need it. It is at the very obvious (to some)  location  http://beta.moreawesomethanyou.com/ts3/test/ and I don't actually see how I was expected to know that. I've never pretended to understand the logic of this board or its denizens, but I do happen to think the software here is the best. So BAH!
