Blacked out fences

Does anyone know what causes this? I've got a couple of base-game fences (the wrought iron one and the white picket) that are blacked out. Well, the wrought iron is blacked out the picket is whited out. It's kind of like somebody didn't finish flicking all the extra pieces of plastic off of them when the were punched out of the mold.

I know that I can fix this by re-installing. I've had it before and that's what works, but why would I bother uninstalling/reinstalling if it's just going to happen again?

You have to have "Enable Advanced Rendering" turned on for them to display properly.

Hmm, well I might have turned that off when I was searching for optimal settings - thankyou. I will double check to see when I get home tonight.

edit: for all those who have encountered this problem and not known how to fix it - yes - Versus is right. You have to have "Enable Advanced Rendering" on.
