I've been trying to download the items into my game, following the "How to Install Custom Content" instructions on the Downloads page, and I got this to work so that the Game Launcher told me they had installed, and they showed up in my Installed Content tab.  But upon launching the game, none of the items were there, and looking back into Installed Content, the new stuff is no longer showing up.

I haven't had chance to check if this if happening with everything, because I downloaded quite a lot, but it is definitely happening with a number or sets, and possibly some of the bonus items.

Any ideas? :s

There's a new premium content object in the store, the Uber Sani-Sim Toilet. It's a toilet that cleans itself, flushes itself, raises the seat itself, and cleans your sim with a light mist so they don't need to wash their hands afterwards.

I didn't want to remove the other the stuff that's now working properly and fixed to test this but my guess is it's conflicting with one or ore of the other premium content. It's supposed to work like this. In my game the sims flush like the cheap toilet (fluch and fail a couple of times) and eventhough it gets very dirty (green stuff on it and what not) it doesn't clean itself. It does play the music though.

The toilet needs a self cleaning upgrade done by a Sim to work like in the video.

Aha! What a bunch of bull! For the price in simeoleons it should clean itself by default, not to mention that you'll be forced to make a sim in the household have a mechanic skill. Is it also unbreakable then? I can comfirm that I had a sim upgraded it and it does clean itself after the upgrade.

Would there be any way to mod the file so that the upgrade is applied automatically when one is purchased?

ctrl+shift+click (with awesomemod, debugging cheats enabled) - 'add upgrade' - 'self cleaning' .. done?

I don't tend to mess around with options not usually available so I'm not aware of a lot of them.

The only way that toilet could be a bigger fail for 400 simpoints is if it clashed with the spellbook/fountain of youth.

After the my sim upgraded it to clean itself, it also got clogged! It plays the music and cleans itself though.

OK I will most likely sound dumb, however I am having a problem when I am converting my store content to packages. I use the mutliextracter from MTS no problems there. My problem is when I try to combined the with the sim3PE. Some of them won't load. It saids

This could be because it is a protected package (e.g. a Store item).

That message means you did not decrapify them correctly.  You can find detailed instructions on how to decrapify in this thread.

Work for me without problems. Try again. EA has changed the DDS for windows and doors, this was a ground for crashing. Maybe they changed this again? Maybe you need a patch?

Another question: How can I do to make my fireplaces appear. The most of them don't appear in the game (instead of my fireplaces I have got empty cases in the catalogs). I know there is a tip somewhere on MATY to get rid of this glitch, but I can't find it anywhere

third question: I can't install the september compilation set, despite of my efforts. I decrapyfied it so much times, and it doesn't work at all. It's the first time I download a set that resist to installation. Does someone have an idea of what happens ?

Most of the individual download links are dead now, so the items are only available now in large archive formats.  Newer stuff still has a chance of being found individually, but most of the older stuff is archive-only.  EA discontinued a lot of their older sets to concentrate on compilations.

Moryrie's store sets include a fix for the missing fireplaces and fences, but once again, the items aren't available individually.
