Anybody know how to check if a store file was decrapified, compressed or not? I hope it's ok to ask here.

Extract the package files with a tool like Delphy's Multi-Extracter then try to open a package in s3pe. If it opens, it's been run through s3rc/de-crapify. If you look at the at the OBJD resource, you can tell whether the package has been de-crapped or merely run through s3rc. A de-crapped OBJD has group 0x00000000, whereas a re-compressed object has group 0x01000000.

I've extracted the Lunar Lakes s3pack into packages, then decrappified them all, and found the world package. Placing all of the packages into the mods folder just doesn't seem to be working in making the world show up in the game. I thought placing a world file in the InstalledWorlds folder might do the trick. So how does one convert a .package file to a .world file?

You used to be able to rename a package file into a world file, drop it into the InstalledWorlds folder, and the game would recognize it (...or so I thought). But I'm not sure that method works anymore, as I tried it recently with a few different worlds, and none of them showed up in the game. I had to install them all with the launcher to make the game recognize them.

I had thought about renaming the file and then crossed it out of my options, thinking it would be too easy if that were it. It actually worked. But all the characters in the neighborhood have folder names, even the lots and descriptions have file names, in game, instead of the correct texts.

That's because the STBLs are stored in the DCCache, and not in the world file itself.

Which is why, I surmise, some advise using sims3packs and the blasted launcher to install worlds. I only install worlds via the launcher because of this (I prefer not seeing string lists in world view), and occasionally I will have issues with a newly installed world not being listed in game. To remedy this, I quit the game, delete the caches and restart. Usually they show up after that, but if not (which rarely happens), I just restart the computer. That always seems to do the trick.

Those are some classy-looking items.  That'll definitely hush up the naysayers who think the Kitteh Purreh Cash Grab is going to be a hideous collection of glittery unicorn poop.

I thought the "throne" looked usable until I noticed the legs appear to be ice-cream cones along with the ice-cream cone adornment in the middle of the seat back.

On top of the items being ridiculous I find the wall decoration extremely creepy. Ugh. That thing is gonna pop out of the wall and stab my sims!

I thought it looked like a cross between a boiled sweet and one of the ghosts from pac-man. Not sometheing even a sweet-loving Sim would want.

On the Game Updates page, it only goes up to patch 1.33 (which everyone should have already).

Game update 1.5 is from 2009 (World Adventures). EA's patch levels have nothing to do with mathematics. They just increase the number after the decimal every time there's a new patch. That's why 1.33 is more recent than 1.5 even though 1.5 > 1.33.

I see. Well, in addition to slapdash coding and testing, why wouldn't EAxis add unnecessary complications to the patch numbering system?

With icantbebothered's Fabulous Fiesta... When I command the sim to make ice cream, he would do the animation and all, but no ice cream produced, same with the deep fryer, he would do the interaction and at the end, no fried chicken and etc. made.

Could you have any mods that conflict with it?  I have all ep's and sp's and all store content and my sims use it ok, in fact they use it too much and are getting fat!  So in my game it is not conflicting with anything.

While you are doing that is there any way to change the way sims react to the two premium objects?  All my sims do is make ice-cream and fried food even if thier hunger bar is filled.

I have the decrapped problem solved with the new food accessories. There are also more BUFF conflicts with this one which I'm done with, but for some reason I can't get the sim to plate the food yet, working on it.

@icantbebothered: I'll try to check the xmls and itunes to see if I can spot something, I'm not too sure what to look for though.

*Got everything fixed, will update my store fix soon.*
