Ambitions Ghost Hunter - Missing spirit?

Okay, my ghost hunter is on a job, spirit invasion, and it requires catching five spirits. She's caught four, and there's no other spirit to be seen. What now?

Check the basement.  If not there, perhaps the spirit is presently possessing a piece of furniture.  Check for floating, shaking furniture.

They sometimes turn invisible for brief periods of time or jump to another part of the house.  Keep looking... or hope that your sim will auto-banish him.

Also, if you're not able to see the spirits AT ALL, you probably have the outdated No Mosaic Hack installed.  There's an updated version at MTS now.

One of the spirits in my game had hidden in the frieze between two stories of a house. You might want to check there.

Okay, I think this was a bug. This was a one story house, though I checked under the foundation and looked for an attic, just in case. I left her on free will for a long time and no actions came up, but she's very good about getting her ghosts on her own. I think I found a bug. She got out of the house though, she faked fainting a couple of times and was fired for inappropriate behavior (just that house, not her profession) and walked away with smug satisfaction from acting in public.

Very possibly.  On the upside getting failing one ghost haunting mission doesn't hurt you at all, I don't think.
